About St Marys

A medieval church with modern facilities always open to visitors for quiet prayer or to find a place of peace. A place of significant history – three former Rectors have become Bishops: saintly hymn writer, Thomas Ken, Samuel Wilberforce – the youngest son of William Wilberforce and George Moberly.
